Brucemore
One of 20 properties of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Brucemore is a 26-acre estate in the heart of Cedar Rapids. It features rolling lawns, formal garden, 1915 Lord and Burnham greenhouse, 1927 swimming pool, and duck pond. The home is a 21-room Queen Anne-style mansion built in 1886. Tours of the mansion are offered on the hour from 10am - 3pm Tuesday - Saturday; noon - 3pm Sunday February - December. Exhibits are open 9am - 5pm Monday - Saturday; noon - 4pm; Sunday year-round.
